Filling in the blanks a little bit.

I missed getting this post out last week. What with between trav……STOP with the excuses!! No excuse for not finding 10mins to post this…my bad, I’m sorry 😦

The lesson being there are tons of excuses. We all know where to find them and even worse how to use them to make a plausible reason for not doing something that may be tough or a chore.

Writing a blog post is neither tough nor a chore. Going for a run when you are new to it can be tough but you should never view it as a chore. We don’t have to run, we get to run is the magic mantra that helps avoid finding excuses.

(Now just for clarity this is the session from 24th October – I’m just housekeeping)

  1. 5 mins easy trot / jog to warm up and loosen the legs. Just raising your heart rate a little.
  2. 90 seconds of running. Remember, out of breath but still in control.
  3. 90 seconds recovery
  4. 3 mins of running. Control the pace so you finish as strong as you set out.
  5. 3 mins of recovery
  6. 5 mins warm down & stretching

Now just before you think this is easy – you need to repeat Step 2 through 5 for a total of 2 times 🙂
